Beauty in trees

The Conversation held a recent discussion around keeping ageing Australians cool in the rising heatwaves. Having greenery is no doubt a natural way of improving the health and wellbeing of any person. Especially for an ageing individual living at home, having urban greenery outside their home encourages them to be active to take walks around their neighbourhood.

Kopwa’s Archbold House is built upon the grounds of red soil that brings life to trees and flowers in our landscape. The surrounding houses in Roseville have a distinct federation and Californian bungalow architectural styles and usually accompanied by lush and leafy roadsides, parks, and gardens.

Having greenery promotes physical activity and social inclusion for our residents, clients and staff. Our residents, their families and our staff enjoy the serenity in the facility’s manicured and leafy gardens.
