Outstanding re-accreditation results!

KOPWA is proud to announce that Archbold House has met the 4 Quality Standards and all of the 44 expected outcomes. Under the guidance of Paul Smith (CEO) and his leadership team, we were determined to upkeep our excellence in the personal, clinical and lifestyle care services.

The 4 quality standards are around:

  1. Management systems, staffing and organisational development
  2. Health and Care
  3. Care recipient lifestyle
  4. Physical environment and safe systems

 

At each care meeting, facility Manager Sylvia Babic addressed issues that were highlighted in the media and reminded staff to continue to follow KOPWA’s documented processes to ensure the highest care standards were delivered to our residents. Quality and Education Manager Pamela Sessions found the surveyors from the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency to be “very experienced and professional” in their approach. Pamela had the support of keen colleagues whom all have managed to demonstrate the elements of the Standards satisfactory to the requirements.
