Kopwa Aged and Community Care Home Care Packages

Home care packages

Home care packages help Australians over the age of 65 to maintain independence at home, while still accessing the care they need. This service is subsidised by the Australian Government and is offered as Home care package levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 depending on your level of care required. An Aged Care Assessment (ACAT) will need to be completed and this can be requested via My Aged Care, your GP, a nurse, social worker or other health care professional you may currently have contact with.

Once the assessment has been completed, ACAT will inform you of the outcome in writing, specifying the level of service you may require. In order to qualify for government funding for a Home Care Package, your income will be assessed to determine if you are eligible to receive a government funded Home care package. We have many self-funded retirees who take advantage of our affordable fee for service care within the community. Give us a call and we will visit you at home to explain the process of putting your home care in place.

Our professional and highly trained staff are passionate about providing you with;

  • Domestic assistance
  • Shopping
  • Personal care
  • Transport

Client thoughts on KOPWA

  • Just a brief note to express my gratitude and appreciation for the excellent service you have shown my parents thus far. This is very refreshing and welcome especially when coming from a service provider that has shown poor organisation and a lack of an understanding of customer service. ...whenever she seems to have contact with you or one of your workers (for example the Speech Pathologist has just visited and mum was very impressed), it alleviates just that little bit of pressure which makes a world of difference for her and us. Please keep up the good work and know we acknowledge this and value your hard work and commitment.

  • In reference to our telephone conversation regarding my uncle, I take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the high standard of (home) care provided to him. I especially thank you (Nicky) and also Liz for always being available to speak with myself at regular and ongoing intervals and as needed. We appreciate your professionalism, support and understanding.

  • Tracy is very friendly and a pleasure to be with. I look forward to the visits where we shop, have a coffee and a chat. Tracy encouraged me to go swimming and now we swim together. She is currently teaching me skills to use my iPAD. She is a good friend, and having Tracy around, I feel safer and no longer fear the future of not being looked after. I would definitely recommend KOPWA services to others as it was recommended to me.
