Client thoughts on KOPWA

  • Dad is now much more independent & looks forward to his physio sessions. Thank you for providing such an essential service. Not only has it made a difference to Dad’s quality of life but, we as a family, can manage to take Dad out more frequently as he is now more mobile & happier - & that benefits everyone.

  • We want to thank you for the wonderful care of my late-mother, Helena, in the past two years. As Helena was unable to understand English and was blind, life has been difficult for her... we have always found your staff attentive and caring, not only to my late mother but also to the other residents...whenever we phoned mum, there is a very special person she always talked about, Boby, her physiotherapist. Boby is very professional, kind and gentle... He was always successful in persuading her to take a walk or do some gentle exercise and brought her immense joy. Often Boby’s visit made her day! It is so important that a Care Home can provide a physio like Boby who understands the Asian culture and his services are immensely valuable. Also having Chinese staff/carers, particularly Alice from Xiamen who speaks my late mother’s dialect.
  • I chose Archbold house on the back of the fantastic service that you and your dedicated team supplied to mum (when she was a client in Home Care). This proved to be a master stroke!! The care she received at Archbold House was exemplary in everyway and we were prepared to make it permanent however we recognised that there was nobody left in Sydney to regularly visit her and so we decided on a nursing facility on the Gold Coast so that we would be able to regularly visit. I have since recommended KOPWA to many people including the management of Dee Why Gardens who have assured me will keep up a close association. I highly recommend your organisation...All management and nursing staff at Archbold House, your account staff even the receptionist all provided AWESOME SERVICE!!!!!! Please keep on doing what you are doing because you all are doing it well.

  • I am proud to call Archbold House my home for there is good care staff to support me. The nurses understand my health needs and care to listen to me. I value my freedom and know I can leave the facility whenever I like, venturing to Chatswood or Roseville shops for a coffee. With Monique’s (Art therapist) help, I discovered that I am good at painting, and enjoy the weekly activity.
